AMBER OPREAN MIRANO

Amber has 12 years experience in different facets of the design industry. Her career consists of high-end residential and commercial design as well as custom cabinet design (working directly for a custom cabinet fabricator), and a market representative for a stone fabricator. Amber has a passion for design and attention to detail. At Floresta Partners, Amber works on developing and documenting drawings.

Her love for design started in her hometown where she grew up in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Her art teacher edited a course for her and created projects specifically in Interior Design for her last three years in high school. She always knew she wanted to be a designer from a young age.

This passion for design brought her to Kent State University where she graduated from the accredited Interior Design Program with her bachelors in Interior Design and a minor in Marketing. She worked in the design industry for 10 years before she went back to graduate school. She graduated with honors with her masters in Construction Management in 2021 with her 9 month old daughter in her arms.

Amber is also an Adjunct Professor at Kent State University in the Interior Design Program. She started as a graduate assistant when she began her masters in 2018 and has been affiliated with the program ever since. The Interior Design program at KSU will always hold a special place in her heart and she enjoys shaping and teaching these young professional students about the industry through her experiences.

Outside of work, Amber enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and immediate family including her beloved pets. She spends a great deal of time on the Portage Hike and Bike Trail which is located in their back yard. She also enjoys reading, baking, and painting.
